Public holidays and printable calendars for Kenya
Africa Calendar is a small website I run so households, teams, and schools can see Kenya’s public holidays on one page, then print a wall calendar or subscribe to a feed. Other African countries are in the catalogue, but Kenya is the page I keep complete.
I am Collins Odeny. This is a personal project, not a company product and not a government gazette. I use it myself for leave, school-term planning, and a clean print at home. If a date looks wrong, email me and I will check it against the official notice.
Start with the Kenya 2026 holiday list: each named day has a short note on what it marks, whether offices usually close, and how it sits against the Saturday–Sunday weekend. From there you can open the studio to print PDF, PNG, or SVG, subscribe to the Kenya ICS feed, or count working days between two dates.
Named Kenyan days on this site include New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Labour Day, Madaraka Day, Mazingira Day, Mashujaa Day, Jamhuri Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, plus the two Eid holidays once the dates are in the project data. Easter Sunday is not a Kenyan public holiday, so it is not listed as a day off.
The calendar studio stays ad-free so a printed page does not carry banners. Informational pages may show a reserved ad space later. Core use does not need an account. Theme choices and personal dates stay in your browser.
