Talk to the person who runs Africa Calendar

Africa Calendar is a personal project. Use email for holiday corrections, print issues, privacy questions, or partnership notes.

Collins Odeny — contact@africacalendar.app

Please include the country, year, and what you expected to see. For a wrong holiday date, attach or quote the official notice if you have it. For a print problem, mention the export format (PDF, PNG, SVG, or ICS) and the browser you used.

On the studio page you can also use the Feedback button. That form stores your message in Firebase so it does not get lost in a busy inbox. Email is still the right channel for privacy requests.

Africa Calendar is not a government office, payroll provider, or school board. Official gazettes and employer policies remain the source of truth for paid leave. There is no phone support line and no office walk-in hours.

I read every message myself. I am based in Kenya (East Africa Time, UTC+3). Product mail — holiday corrections, print bugs, school-term mismatches — usually gets a reply within a few business days after I can verify a notice. Privacy requests I treat as a same-week priority. Overnight mail often gets a reply the next working day my time. I do not offer WhatsApp, SMS, or a phone line.

Use the same address for three kinds of mail, and say which one you mean in the subject if you can. Product: holiday names, observed dates, print or export bugs, school dates. Privacy: analytics, feedback deletion, cookies, or advertising. Bug reports: the URL you were on, the browser, and what you expected. Do not send passwords, ID numbers, payroll files, or copies of other people’s documents.

I cannot help with visas, immigration interviews, court or tax deadlines, employment disputes, or legal advice. I cannot change your employer’s leave policy or a school’s notice board. I am not affiliated with the Ministry of Education, the Kenya Gazette, or any other state body in Kenya or elsewhere. If you need an official letter, you need the official office — not this site.

There is no sales team and no partnership desk. If you represent a school or company and want to reuse the ICS feeds, you may link to them freely; please do not scrape the site in a way that hammers hosting. I do not sell placement on the printable canvas.

Spam, SEO pitches, guest-post offers, and crypto or “guest post for a backlink” mail are ignored. Messages that look like automated bulk mail may be deleted without a reply.

If you are reporting a privacy issue, say whether the question is about analytics, feedback stored in Firebase, local storage in your browser, or advertising cookies. I can explain what the site collects and delete feedback that includes your email if you ask. The privacy policy is the longer version of that answer.

Partnership or licensing questions should still go to email, but expect a honest “maybe later” unless the proposal helps users directly — for example correcting holiday data or improving accessibility.

When a bug is reproducible, screenshots or a short screen recording help more than a vague “it broke” note. Include whether you were on the studio calendar route, a country year page, the school calendar, or a legal page.

Useful starting links if your question is really “how does this site work”: About (who runs it), Privacy (what is collected), Terms (acceptable use), Kenya 2026 public holidays (the deepest hub), and the Kenya 2026 school calendar if you are planning around terms. Nigeria 2026 and South Africa 2026 sit next to those hubs.

If you found a wrong date from a printout already on a wall, still email. I can correct the next ICS refresh and the next studio export even if the paper copy cannot change. Quote the country, year, holiday name, and the date you printed.

If an ICS subscribe fails, say whether you used Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook, and paste the feed path you tried — for example /feeds/ke-2026.ics, /feeds/ng-2026.ics, or /feeds/za-2026.ics. A 404 on a feed means that year is not published yet, not that the holiday list on the country page is empty.

Print questions should mention paper size (A4 or US Letter), whether you exported PDF or PNG, and whether the missing date is a public holiday or a personal date you added in the browser. I cannot recover a custom date you already cleared from local storage.

School-term mail is only useful when it cites the Kenya 2026 ministry circular or a later official notice. I will not copy 2026 term ranges onto 2027 or 2028 just because someone asked for a later academic year.

If you want a country that only has studio support today to get a written holiday hub, say which country and why you need it. Real household or school use matters more than a request to “add all of Africa as articles”. I will not invent gazette notes I cannot check.

Holiday names sometimes differ across sources — Mazingira Day versus an older Moi Day or Huduma Day label, or Eid dates that move after moon sighting. Tell me which name your employer or school used so I can map it to the row this site shows.

Thank you for reading this far. Africa Calendar stays small on purpose; thoughtful mail is the main way it improves. If you only needed the address, it is still contact@africacalendar.app.
